Introduction
TPT is a web based project focusing on democracy, communication and negotiation.

Three classes from three countries work together in a community on a secure platform.

The platform forms the framework. It is up to the participants themselves to create life and content by creating an active community. In the community the participants constitute a Youth Council whose task is to study and take a stand on some of the big dilemmas that are being debated in Europe these days. In this context it is pretended that the EU Commission asks the Youth Council for advice. This is what starts the cooperation and communication in the community.

The dilemmas relate to three themes:

  1. Immigrants, Refugees and Ethnic Minorities
  2. Security or Freedom in the Shadow of Terrorism
  3. Consumption and Globalisation
The community chooses to work with one of the three themes.

The participants have to
  1. Individually create a Personal Profile
  2. In pairs/groups create a Country Profile based on research in their own country
  3. Be members of a Youth Council
  4. Communicate across borders
  5. In groups develop proposals to solve a dilemma presented by the EU Commission
